You, yourself said it was dumb. You did not lie, but from an artistic standpoint:
Animation fluidity was beautiful.
Audio was about a second and a half off.
Other than that, solid piece. Glad to see talented artists like yourself here on Newgrounds.

lolwut? I appreciate really anything Zelda... but despite everything this animation has going for it, it still managed to somehow turn out rather shoddy. Now, I mean no offense. Your author comments truthfully stated that there was a severe lack of 'jokes' which I understood going into watching this. My only concern is the fact that, even though there were no jokes as truthfully stated, what was the overall reason for this animation being made at all? I would hope that it was made for the sole reason of entertainment, but given the literal contents of this animation I found neither entertainment nor any sense as to why anyone would take the time to post something so fundamentally broken as this. Now, animation fluidity and overall art style, I have no complaints about. Just... Where's the story!? And if there is one, WHERE IS THE CONTEXT SO I CAN UNDERSTAND THE STORY!? Please... Consider the fact that even though the Zelda games have an overall religious following, unless there is some given context as to what you are referencing, whether personal or cliche, your audience is going to be completely lost, as I am now.

Thank you! The main point of creating this was... practice. I'm trying to improve my animations; and this is one of my earlier works. I wanted to submit as a part of my portfolio. I understand your complaints- maybe this isn't Newgrounds worthy yet.

I really hope, you're trying to take animation seriously. I regrettably watched this with high-hopes. There are a lot of things you ought to work on. Animation is an art, and although my personal opinions rarely count towards anything, I must say that what really broke this animation was the obvious lack of effort put into this piece. If you would only take the time to draw and coordinate a legitimate flash I think you'd do rather well. I find this lack of effort and blatant misuse of your skills disappointing.

Not terrible, audio is pretty shoddy, but overall I like it. Splash some color onto this, a silly dance scene involving this character "Simon" with a Tuna and a sandwich and I'd give it 5 stars. Hhahahaha but that's just what I want to see!

Well, I didn't intend to get this a high score or good reviews, I did this as a test and uploaded it on NG for the lulz.

Although, I'll promise I'll make cleaner, better, longer animations in the future.

I'll give you enough to get past judgement because it's for your girlfriend and it's sweet of you, but other than that you're left on your own. Animation is kinda lame and the music choice is a little tasteless, but nonetheless props unto you for making this for your girlfriend!

It's a really good start, it didn't really need to be a loop though. You have some serious potential and I really enjoyed the animation effects. (Almost more so than the actual animation.) Keep in mind that not all of us are speed readers, so some dialogue scenes need to be slowed down. Speech bubbles would also be appreciated. As well as some actual context to the entire flash. But amazing work overall, but 1.5 stars for an unfinished piece and only a demo.

I think this is the first half-decent animation I've seen all day. Thank you, I was about to lose my mind. I commend you for actually making a legitimate flash out of your trials with a certain program or style. I really appreciate the fact that you took the time to actually finish your flash rather than posting a half-assed part 3/34 tester flash that's like 3secs long! Okay, sorry. Done ranting. You did a great job, I hope to see more from you in the future!
